I heard from Gator HD, I had inquired about a new NT after having been recommended to them on this forum.
The price he they're givin' me is $16,945 for a '06 NT with fuel injection and the security system. That includes freight, Prep, setup but not tax, tag, title. Unlike Orlando HD they can order it as I want it and only need a 30-45 day lead to get it in. And they throw in %15 off Acc. for 2 weeks. Oh, it also includes the 1000 mile service.
Just wanted to see what the forum thinks of this deal. I know it's not msrp but from what i figure it's only 725 over.
Good deal man. I think mine was 17,165 or somethin like that out the door. I got an 05' back in march. I shopped all over OR, WA, and ID and that was the cheapest I could find. Good luck!
I thought it looked good, especially like the fact that they are throwing in the 1k service. Seems they want to make sure the customer takes care of their ride (ie some twit might skip it) I'm going to see what Central Florida HD has to offer since they are about 50 minutes closer to me. But at least it sounds like numbers wise I found a solid dealership. Thanks for the input and I look forward to more.
I bought my fatboy from them. first rate dealership...after taking delivery I had the famous tranny seal leak, I called them on friday afternoon, they said bring it right in sat morning...first thing...sat morning two hours later problem fixed with many apologies....don't look any further, this is the deal for you. jim
I bought a new '05 Heritage Classic in March '05 (ordered in October '04) from F&S H-D in Dayton Ohio with 2 tone paint and EFI. The base price for the bike was $17,195, paint was $580, EFT was $400 at that time (the EFI is down to $225 now) and freight $225. Total price less taxes was $18,405 (an '06 with the same setup would be $18,480). I paid MSRP for everything, no markups, no setup fee etc. My 1K service cost me $172.00 labor, fluids, gaskets etc. I also received a VIP membership which gives a 10% discount on everything for a year and a 1 year dues payment into the local H.O.G. chapter. Dealers in 2 adjoining counties charge about $585 over MSRP for setup and 1K service, but I'm not sure about the dues and discounts. I checked a dealer in Deleware and they were asking $25,100 for the exact same bike (OUCH !!!) One thing I did notice was the dealers in my area charging the extra were in fairly new buildings. F&S has been in the same spot for plus or minus 20 years. I guess it't the territory that makes a difference.
That seems high to me. I paid 15,671.00 before tax. but it was for a 05. Standard wheels, vivid black, EFI and HD security. They also threw in the finned cover kit. How much did list go up on 06? My 1000 mile service cost 180. Where are you located? Are the NT's going for more than list?
my 06 is going to cost me 16422 with FI and 5 extended warranty, all I got to pay extra is tax and registration? Im byuying through the military program, if anyone know where I can get a better deal please let me know, so they can match that price
