Question Led Lighting question...

Went to a custom bike show this past weekend. Noticed some bikes that had the small led engine lighting and ground and wheels also. Different color effects. This show you were not allowed to keep your battery hooked up. My question is how were these led lights working on these bikes if battery was disconnected? It's probably a stupid question. I know I should of asked but thought about this after I left...Thanks in advance for any replies...

Yeah, LEDs are Low Voltage / Low Current. A few "D" or "C" batteries in Parallel and they can run for days...
