Assuming your rotors and pulley are in good shape, only difference will be looks and cost. Some wheels have matching rotors and pulley to accentuate, not block, your new wheels.

1 piece rotors are all about look. Since you avhe a softail and single disc front it is less important than if you had a bagger with dual disc front as the rotors are much more prevalent on a dual disc front wheel. On teh rear you rotor is on the right side so it is very visible when the bike is parked.
That being said stock rotors are extremely drab and most of our customers who get wheels without rotors end up buying the rotors after they realize how drab the stock rotors are. There is an exception to every rule.
Depending on what wheels you are getting the company may offer 1 piece rotors, 2 piece rotors, or both. Ask before you buy as 2 piece rotors cost quite a bit more usually and on a softail are not necessarily going to stop the bike any better. Looks are obviously subjective on what looks best with what wheel.
If you need help with wheel questions please feel free to call as wheels is what we do.
Man I'd really love to go with mag wheels over spoked... but I just cant spend the money on the difference... unless you got mags that can compete with fat spoked on price...??
HogPro, I am open to any brand as long as they are quality wheels. I would prefer a black and chrome...and more classic ie not slashes, swirls or "blades".... but in the Sinister big daddy
price range.. Also front has too be for 99 fatboy running 200 up rotor and brake. my shop will do the spacers.
I made the mistake on my last bike of just getting the wheels. They were chrome and looked great, until you saw the stock rotors and just killed the look. So get the rotors too
Yes I wonder too, what type of wheels ? it seems Harley mastered the 'tubeless' wire wheel and after market still leak and stuff (just google DNA wheel horror story)
