Fire it up, go for a ride, and never look back. Oh yeah, it wouldn't hurt to start saving every penny that you have either. Spending money on your bike becomes an addiction.
In the six months I have had my 07 FatBoy I have extended the floorboards, changed exhaust to V&H Big Shots Staggered, billet brake pedal & clutch pedal, added a LePera BareBones solo seat, new wheels, (HogPro solid chrome) new rotors, new pulley (all chrome) PCIII, Ness A/F, and now in the process of getting the handlebar chrome kit put on. Also I'm currently having my stock wheels chromed. Can't make up my mind which wheels I like better. Toying with the idea of getting a new HD Paint Set (Octane). That's enough for a while .... says my bank account.
CONGRATS ON THE NEW FAT BOY! This is my first HD after many years of Honda Gold Wing and VTX ownership. I can't believe the difference! Accessories are an addiction, for sure! Pipes, seat, chrome...you name it, I want it! Damn that 900+ page catalog my HD salesman gave me...I guess he knew what he was doing, huh?
Get out and ride...be careful, and find a part time job you will like to support your new baby!
I have a buddy that put 1 1/2" drags on his 07 fatboy. Fat bike=Fat Bars!Once you put the 1 1/2s on you'll see how nicely it fits in with the thick front end.
Next is 16" apes, slam it to the ground, 120 spoke 18" wheels, whitewalls, dump the turn signals, 110 kit with pull-the-devil-outta-hell torque, frenched tail/brake light, braided cables, a nice coat of super heavy metalflake, the kind that clogs up the gun, hand-tooled buffalo hide seat that says"pimpin' ain't easy".Help out there, did I miss anything?
