Default Internal brake line

Hi guys. After installing my wild 1 bars last year I've decided to now clean them up and have been looking at running an internal brake line. My question is, will the goodridge sniper 2 kit work ok with my 9/16 master and performance machine 6piston caliper. Any input welcomed.

Not sure, but I'm running the Russell pro system brake line with 9/16" MC and stock brake caliper. No issues so far.

Jreichart I'm glad you replied, I've been looking at your posts for a few weeks now and your bars convinced me to go for it. I was originally going for a PM setup with buttons and a streamliner throttle. I luckily changed my mind before it was too late and ive now ordered PM hand controls, exile throttle and a grip ace. Not gonna go for foot clutch but I reckon my bars will still look pretty smart!! Anymore pointers now you know my setup?

Sounds like a nice list of parts! That goodridge brake line seems pretty stout, wish I had known of it when I did mine. The Russell line I used is basically just nylon. I've noticed some holding issues on really steep hills. Nothing major, prob just a little expansion in the line on really hot days.

Anyway, good choice on the exile throttle. It's the best out there IMO, I also initially purchased a streamline. If you have the means to, weld it in. The set screw method doesn't seem very dependable.

The GripAce is also a good choice! Lots of wiring, but take your time and make sure all your connections are good and it'll be trouble free. One thing I noted with mine, the brights indicator stayed lit. It got brighter when the brights were switched on, but didn't go off when the low beam was on. I just disconnected the bright indivator lamp and all was ok. When I spoke to the rep at GripAce about it, he stated it was a known issue on some models and a programming patch was in the works and they would reprogram it free of charge. It's a nonissue for me now since I got rid of the dash and bright indicator altogether.

Good luck with the project, keep us updated on the progress.
