Default Powdercoating Heartland Struts

I'm about to powder coat the rear fender struts on my Heartland kit. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with the small insert pieces that are removed when installing the passenger seat? They fit with very small clearances, and I am concerned that if both the struts and inserts get coated, they will no longer fit. I would like to leave them functional and removable, in case I ever decide to buy the seat. Is this possible? Thanks.

Take them off and powder coat them separately. I just had a bunch of my part powder coated. It was a pain for the parts that did have small tolerances like my trees. Powder got in some places that it shouldn't have. Nothing that some sandpaper didn't fix though.
