Mustang Seat Fitment issue

I just bought a Tripper solo for my 06 FXSTB and man the nose on this thing is loose as hell! My Vintage Wide 2up seat from them fits like a glove with no wiggle, but this seat when I bolt it up has about 1/2" of play in the nose and I can rock the seat left or right pretty good. Anyone else have this issue with any aftermarket seats and suggestions on how to fix it? I'll contact them tomorrow but I bought this seat second hand so there is no warranty.

I'd try taking the seat off and bending the front mounting tab up closer to the seat pan if possible. That will help keep it tighter.

wrap the front tab with duct tape to make it thicker.
