Does anyone know if you can not have the fuel gauge on the left cap light up? I really just want flush mount and already have the HD speedo/tach combo with the built in fuel gauge. I would love to not have one on the tank too as it detracts from the look. I looked at a few aftermarket parts from others but think the HD ones look the best overall.

Nope, I already asked this question....althought I havent tried it yet. Someone I trust on here said that the only way to not get it to light up is the unplug it and then thr gas gauge on the speedo wont work.
I guess you could always unplug it and just use the odometer as your gauge though.
Yeah, I saw the connection thing posted earlier I was just hoping there was a way to control or turn on/off the LED. It doesn't really match my bike style but I love the look of the flush mount.
If anyone is wondering if the hd flush mt gauge and the hd speedo/tach fuel gauge work both together the answer is yes...readings arent exact but very very close, my tach/speedo fuel gauge always seems to read a little higher than the tank gauge. Love them both!
