So I'm looking for some good looking bags for my 09 Fat Boy. I would like to get the quick detachable one so I can put them on for the longer trips and take the off the around town. Momma needs more luggage space go figure. Is there anything out that I missed?
I've got a set of hard leather Harley bags off someone here and then I bought the cycle vision bareback mounts. They do what they are suppose to and its clean. The only thing is if your bags don't lock then anyone can open the bag and take the whole bag off! Honestly I take the bags off and put the bags on via the hardware that came with the bags and I don't even use the bare backs. So they are for sale if you want them…lol
Thanks I'll keep that on mind. I was thinking of that with going to bike week every year and biketober fest and all the other events in between. I might just go with the hard mounted ones ( throw overs ) with the strut bracket. I'll keep looking. But thanks for the heads up brother.
I just picked up bags for my Deluxe. I went with Viking Bags hardshell leather wrapped bags. I didn't want to spend $150.00 for Harley's quick detach system and then another 70 for the quick detach locks so I made my own setup for about $25.00. http://www.vikingbags.com/harley-sof...10295-prd1.htm
