Default noob with mod questions

My 08 night train was bought used. I have no idea what mods were done other than pipes and a SE tuner. The air filter still has the stock cover so I don't know if that was ever upgraded. Can you pros tell if a motor has after market cams by hearing it run? If so here's a video tell me what ya think. Thanks in advance, Ron

That's cammed, 103 bores and 10.5 forged flat tops

As for the a/c, there's a number of after maker filters that run under the stock cover. Take the cover off and look for a brand symbol on the a/c. I use to run the Arlen ness big sucker under my stock cover

It's hard to tell because it sounds like it is at first start, but the it quickly rolls back to what sounds stock. I'm no wizard at picking cams by ear, and it's even harder on a short youtube clip. Could be a light cams in it. Where you bought it couldn't tell you?

Just curious, was it already warmed up when you shot the video? That will also make a difference in the sound and what we are seeing.

If it was already warmed up, I would think stock or mild cams. Honestly, your dealer should know or if they don't they should have some way to get in touch with the original owner.

That'd be why it sounded like lumpy cams to begin with. When it warms up does it sound like what it did when you walked around to the right side of the bike? That part sounds more like a stock setup to me

I'm thinking it sounds more like the right side when its warm. I know It sounds like a faster idle than my step dads carbed bike did.
