Doesn't HogPro make a different fender for the Deuce? Seems like I saw some pics on their site that looked pretty good. I kinda like the look. When it starts getting old I just put on the saddle bags and hide it for a while, then when I take them off I like the fender again....for a little while.
I'm with Voodoo on this one. Once you have the right hight on a Deuce fender it looks Killer. Obviously any fender thats sticking
6" or moreoff theWheel is going to look odd. Just curious Hawgfoot. What would you suggest??
Lowering my Deuce would maybe cure the fender problem only to create or worsen an existing problem . I drag that Pro-Pipe powering out of right handed corners real easy riding 2 up , so far just the end cap . Think there would be major damage to my exhaust if I lowered my Deuce .
Voodoo , did you do anything other than the air shocks to lower the rear and is your front end lowered at all ?
Dan, I agree, I like the BT fender also and have thought of doing the same thing that you are..........waiting to see how you make out with the conversion........
Well, I don't know if the frame ears are any different my I know the fender struts are for one. I think with a set of struts and a fender you could probably make it work. I am putting a duece sized wheel and tire on in as soon as the wheel gets here and I know that will not cause a fitment issue.
JC, Canuck chill the F+++ out. I'm well aware of who VooDoo is and You. I don't think he was offended by the comment. He took it with the comical sense it was intended along with the Prince "joke". I also don't think he needs you to defend him.
With that, Sorry for the thread divertion Dan and hope you get you deal done. I will quietly go away so as not to offend any more of the POWERS that BE around here with no sense of humor.
