One the speedometer there is a digital cluster for odometer, Trip A, Trip B, Gear/tach, Time, and a ml R and I am not sure I know what this is..... guessing Miles to Reserve but not sure since this model does not have a petcock valve with "Reserve".
The number following the ml R continually goes down as if miles to something loke empty????
Once you get low enough, it will automatically switch over to that display.
Excuse me for extending this post but once it switches over it's indicating "mile remaining" to empty?
How many miles can I expect to get out of 5 gallons of gas, remembering this Cross Bones is equipped with a stage 1 Kit which included a high flow air, Vance & Hines Exhaust, and a Race program from Screamin Eagle?

A lot of it will depend on the quality of gas you get. On a trip I have gotten anywhere from 175 to 200 on my 6ga tank. I have V&H Pro Pipes and PCV on my Fat Boy, no SE.
depends how hard you twist the throttle. Just crusing on secondary roads i get about 160-170 miles and if it's interstate I can go to 190. I have a built up motor, but only uses a little more than a stocker. when mine gets to LO-??? i can get about 4.5 gal in the tank.. just fill it every 160 miles and you won't run out
Love the wheels on that black Harley. Thanks to all for your help, now I wont feel uncomfortable about taking off and riding the west Texas Hill Country. Love my Cross Bones..............
