I was just cutting on my belt guard and for some reason the second bolt from the front is extremely close to the pulley. Is anyone on right now who can check their clearance and post it for me?Thanks in advance.2000-2004 softail, please.

I have an 06 and mine is 1/8" from the sprocket, give or take. Your sprocket is wider and sticks inward towards the tire more, so they should be relativley close to the same on the outer side.

Mine is about 3/16", but the bolt doesn't stick thru. The gap (3/16") is between the guard and back side of bolt hole.

You think its close now, put a chrome sprocket cover on it. On the 200mm version that's RCH close.

bensonjv is right...put that sprocket cover on it and stand-by for some tight clearances! Keep the alignment true and all is well!

Good luck...

No chrome cover for me.Next winter I'm going to have to do brakes and I might need a new belt.I figure I'll be able to buy an 06 or 07 pulley off e-bay.I saw one slready for $25 bux.I'll just throw it on with a 13/16 belt and give myself a skosh more room.
