Hello everyone, I am pretty new to the forum but have been doing some searching around in here for a while. I have a 2007 heritage and looked on here a lot for reviews on stuff before doing some work to it this winter. So, thanks for all the reviews and opinions on exhaust and parts and just general ideas. Here is a before and after (not quite done) of my heritage. I know the black is not for everyone, but i really like how it is turning out. The next thing I'm looking at doing is quick detach for bags and sissy pad. I want to run it stripped down except on trips. I'm wondering if the HD brand is the best for both? Not much price difference between all the brands our there. Also, I see lots of reviews on here about quick detach kits for bags, how about sissy pads? Is HD only brand? Thanks!

On all my bikes and all the bikes my dad has had that I could get parts for we always go HD. No it isn't the only brand but personally that's what I like.

Welcome to the forum yes when I get detach parts it will be from Harley. By the way nice heritage

 

Skipping past the questions .... I never thought a Heritage should be blacked out, but you, you have a nice looking ride.

 

Blacked out is not me but have to say so far you have done a good job on it. I don't have quick detach but will someday and if not much price difference just buy the HD ones.
