Headlight/Tail light- blown fuse
This may be an old subject but I appreciate any input. My 02 Fatboy headlight and tail light fuze keeps blowing. I've head the headlight out once before doing some mods and had to cut the wires the reconnnect and I suspect there is not a short. If that isn't the case, anyone out there have the same issue? Brake light and signals work fine. No front running lamps however.

You mention that it is the tail light that keeps blowing, take a look at the harness where it passes through the rear fender from under the seat. There have been some that rubbed the harness bare from the wheel bottoming out inside the rear fender.

My 05 Heriatge Classis starting blowing lighting fuses at 2K miles. The insulation for the headlight was worn through at the fork cover. Seems the hole is a little small. I repaired the wires, split a piece of rubber tubing to slide over the wires and fastened it with small tie-wraps.
