KURYAKYN HYPERCHARGER
I just bought a 2007 Night Train!

Its still on its way up here from the factory but I'm already buying up the parts I want to throw on her.I got the Vance & Hines Big Radius comming but want to change the air filter...it blocks to much of the engine. I was going to go with a 90 degree and filter but found the Kuryakyn Hypercharger.
My questions is, if I put on the exhaust and the Kuryakyn Hypercharger or any new intake for that matter, do I have to take it in for a tuning? I'm pretty mechanically inclined and know that more air flow = the need for more gas. in that case the bike would be runninglean.
Im going to wait until she is broken in before doing any mods but if i need to tune her up, im gonna buy everything i want in one shot so i dont have to keep tuning it.
Thanks for the help....
PS. awsome group! ive spent the last couple months just reading and looking at pics. id be lost without this place.
plasmadaddy, I just got back home (Ontario, Canada) from living over in Israel for a year. I lived off Maccabi beer and watching Maccabi Tel Aviv play basketball

I have heard nothing good about them.
I have heard that they do "Nothing" for the bike.
They only look nice, big waste of money.
Go for the "Stage One" kit and save your money.
That's what I did. JMHO

I would not waste my money on the Hypercharger.

I wouldnt say that was exactly true....... The only difference I see in the stage 1 ac and the hyper charger is the hyper charger looks better. They both use a k&n filter so I would say they both would flow the same air through them.
BIG NOTE though, the hypercharger butterfies will not work because the throttlebody and manifold on the 07 are one piece and you cannot get a manifold vac without drilling the manifold and installing a bung. Thats what I had to do on my 07, but I also used an ebay HC from an 05 motor.
