Throttle Butterfly Return Spring
Thought I'd share some info I recently discovered.
Attached is a photo of the throttle body on my 02 Fatboy. On the right side of the throttle body is the Butterfly Return Spring. My spring has lost some of its tension causing the butterfly and throttle hand grip to no longer quickly snap back to the closed position. I thought I'd replace the spring however Harley does Not sell this spring as a separate item. It is a non replaceable part of the throttle body with a MSRP of $147.00 dollars. See item number 7 in the attached schematic.
