Default Build or Buy, advice needed

I'm having a hard time trying to decide a path forward on building or buying another bike. I have had my 03 flstc sitting in storage for about a year and half after wrecking it. The bike is a stage 2 twin cam, still runs and only the tank and breather where really damaged. I have been collecting parts for it in the mean time to build a pro-street style bike out of it (Valley wide tire kit & Karata belt drive so far). The other day I picked up a 06 flstci that I thought was a decent deal but it's missing the engine, tins, handle bars and a few accessories. The reason I picked it up is I figured I could build one to sell to help me pay for my build. My plans for a build are 124 or bigger engine, 6 speed 240 rear. I have been shopping around for parts to build with and just keep thinking maybe I should just fix up both bikes alittle better than stock, sell them both and then just buy a finished bike. I figured buying a bike is alot less headache but my mind can not decide. I guess summarizing my long babbling story is I was just looking for advise from members on what they might do.

If you have never built one from the ground up before it is kind of costly and time consuming. My latest softail I built from the frame up only took me about a month and was pretty cheap. I say what the hell. Build it. You'll appreciate it more

Building is by far way more expensive. I looked for 2 years before I found this bike. The guy I got it from put a TON of money in it then his construction business went down in flames back when the housing market crashed. He saved me 10k, easy! Then I continued on to make it my own knowing I would NEVER get any of that money back.

The only reason I went in so deep on this bike is because it is my last bike unless I ever get a 2nd one. When I am dead and gone it goes to my Son. The market is flooded with used bikes so keep that in mind too, easy to buy, hard to sell. Patiance is the key.

If you got the time, talent and money, build one.
