Hell, if we selling him a bike.. I've got an 07 I bought new,,, with 47k, excellently maintained by this ole retired Maintenance man since after the two yr Warrenty was up and since then. Myself and our local INDY has done all she needed done to her.
I'd thinK nothing to ride across the country and back several times each yr. I still take a yearly trips to other states every yr at least a week long and log almost 2k on them...and I am planing more trips summer with her..
I have over $25K invested in her,, with all the chrome, leather, engine work,(cams, Se AC, pipes, SERT turner,, dyno,, new tires and brakes (Lyndall's) she's never been down,, never ridden above 85 or red-lined except for dyno. and I have All her yearly maintenance I've done and what I did to her every yr.
Garage kept and stored in a Heated Garage at 65* in the winter time and she still looks like new.. I'll take $12k for her and if sold the next owner would get another easy 100 k out of her before having to anything but keep on doing the yearly maintenance on her and ride her decently like I have and keeps on doing her righteously ...
Chit.. thats why I did what I've done to her knowing at my age of 65 it may be my last bike.. I loved this one and she's the best I've ever had, If I keep her I may not need another one in my life time.....cause she'll probably out last me...
