Modify Footboards
I'm not liking the looks of the footboards. I'd really love to have some forward control pegs but I can't afford it right now...maybe later.
Anyway, I'm wondering about modifying the footboard setup I currently have? I'm wondering if anyone has removed the heel shifter, chopped the arms for the footboard, and installed a peg?

Yeah, it ain't going to work. When I got home from work I looked at the footboards. Doesn't appear modifying them would work. Guess I'll just have to get new forward controls. Anyone want this floorboard setup let me know.

Rather than removing the heal shifter I only removed the rear shift peg. This allows me to place my foot on the back of the floorboard but also be able to use the heal shifter. I can still shift with my heal on the shift lever.
