I just wanted to give anyone else that has these wheels a heads up..I didn't wash then down after the last ride last year and they oxidized and pitted pretty bad over the winter...My own fault...I have been trying to clean then to see if they could be brought back to life....I have tried just about everything I could find on the internet and on here
I have succeeded! They aren't 100% and probably never will be be but I can live with them.
The trick I found was Mothers Aluminum and Mag polish and a 3M sanding pad. it looks like a scotchbrite pad but it's made for bodywork.
After they were smoothed out I hit the wheels with a good wax.
I will just need to keep up on them until I can afford new wheels next year
Since I have the black wheels on my lo. I am just going to have them powder coated next winter. If I had the polished Alum wheels I would consider having them chromed. Either way no more pitting problems.
