Default iphone 5s mount help needed

so, when i got my breakout, one of the first things i did was buy a handlebar mount for my iphone 4s. well, today, i'm having to upgrade to a 5s...and my mount no longer works. didn't think it would be a big deal, i would just find a new mount.....except i can't seem to find anything decent. everything i'm finding is cheap quality stuff that looks like i'll lose my phone after the first ride. so, does anyone use something they would care to share?

oh, i forgot to mention that this is a breakout with stock bars, so it has to fit that big 2" sucker.

I use the RAM mount system with a universal device holder with my Galaxy Note2 on the stock bars.

They have a couple of options where most of the components may be reused.

eagle, how secure is it? i was looking at those, but the 'fingers' look like they might allow the phone to fall out with a few bumps or some strong wind. also, worried about rain or rocks hitting the back.

I use a magnetic pouch stuck on the petrol tank. Keeps the bars nice and clean and tidy

Also take a look at life proof case for iPhone 5s they have a handlebar mount that's works great and is low profile than ram mount hardware.

Their new nuud case is nice as well.

This really works very well. The fingers of the holder come in two different lenghts and with a rubber coating. They are adjustable to to make them fit your device's witdh.

I was quite sceptic too but now I'm very happy with it. As you can see I put some 3 mm neoprene that I cut to fit on the front of the holder with double-sided adhesive to work as a damper and prevent vibrations between holder and device.

After I got the mount I went on a really bumby road to check everything out...didn't move a bit, except for my butt, my teeth, my sunglasses etc. . Neither the adjustment arm nor the phone itself moved in any way. This thing really is secure! Also went at least 85 mph...nothing.

Of course its not protecting you phone from any rocks hitting it. But there's nothing protecting your headlight, speedo etc, either. So the only issue that might be there is rain. You would need to get a waterproof pouch/case/shell or somethin' like that if you would like to use in rain. I simply take the phone off an put it into my jacket when

thanks for the advice. i went ahead and bought one of these:

http://phoneshieldmounts.com/phonesh...case-and-mount

it is very similar to the one i have now and i love the one i have now. waterproof, shock proof, and snug. i would have gotten the one you recommended eagle, i just worry about the phone. i spend my money on my bike now...don't want to have to dish out for a $700 phone. hahaha.
