Just installed my shotgun shock on my 2001 Fatboy.. Took about 3.5 hours alone including time to put my new jack together. Was pretty simply minus a few pain in the *** moments. Please disregard how dirty she is, and the fact that i probably dont quite know how to use the switches yet haha. Im learning. Cant wait to try it out later. I have a set of Progressive Monotubes coming that I plan to run at -1" as per the recommendations on this forum. Also replacing the lower forks with chrome ones when I install. Hoping my 36" Cholos will be in this summer lol. Last mod will be the wheels. Debating a 21/16 Spoke or Fatspoke with White Walls. That wont happen until fall though.
Bitchin! You're gonna luv the SS, really makes the ride great no matter what the road conditions are. I'm running the stock height monotubes and those are gonna make a big difference too.
Jameson...Looks good! I installed mine yesterday by myself as well. Took a little less than 3 hours (my jacks are already assembled...lol). Without any weight on the bike and in the lowered position, how long does it take for yours to come to full height?
Not sure, would guess 10th 15 seconds. .longer then I was expecting though. From other YouTube videos mine seems slow. Maybe I'm paranoid lol. I'll check tomorrow though.

Freaking sweet, Im just waiting on wheels, and they should be coming next week.
Jameson, look into the 21/18 combo, I had the 21/16 combo on my last sled and this time Im going to spend the extra dough for the 18 rear. Got the 120/70/21 and the 150/70/18 WW's just sitting there waiting on the DAMN WHEELS. lol. Think Im going to be happier with the 18 rear. JMHO
I love my ss on my deluxe. Dropped the front with 2" progressive kit rides fantastic and defintely a must with cholos my 39's woukd be trashed without a shotgun shock. What brand ww's are you running counrtyd? Vee??
