Default Another new rider

My wife just went through the Rider's Edge course this weekend and I have to admit she really tore it up! I was a bit worried how she would do on her own bike with the slow control stuff like the figure 8's but man I am so proud! Here she is on the new HD Street 500 they used as training bikes. Nice little water cooled bike, the trainers said they are amazingly easy to ride and my wife said she was surprised how slow she could go and that she could make it do such hard turns and it 'just somehow stayed up' Of course this means soon I get to strip mine down a bit for better solo riding lol.

Pretty awesome. My wife went down on Rider's Edge and couldn't recover. I prefer my bike to be solo, but want her to be along. Nice bit of review on the Street 500. Maybe ... maybe someday I could get my wife on one.

hell yeah man! i've ALMOST got my wife convinced to take the course. she's deathly afraid of bikes, but since i got my breakout, she has started to warm up to it a bit. i really want her to learn, because let's face it...how freaking cool would that be.

There is always hope man! When I got my first bike a little over 3 years ago (Nightster) she said she would never ever get on it. A year later she was getting on and riding short rides. By the time I got my Breakout she was loving riding and would tell ME let's go ride! Now she wants her own bike

That's cool that they would let you ride a bike that isn't even due for official release for another month.
