Front wheel compatibility 2006-2007

I just got a 2006 FXSTBI, there is a dent in the front rim.
Is a FXST 2007 stock rim a direct compatible swap???

Compatable, yes. Direct bolt on, probably not.

I have an 07 Heritage, and just bought wheels for it. I was looking at a set that was listed as 2000-2006, and when I asked if they would fit my 07, I was told that the rear would fit, but in 07 they went to a 25mm axle in the front then in 08 they changed again to 25mm in both front and rear. Im assuming this would pertain to all softails but Im not positive, but like the previous post said they are still compatible.
It seems that 07 was a crossroads year for alot of parts and accessories.
