Obviously it is more comfortable , but I don't like the look. The steep upturn from the seat to the backrest takes away from the look of a deluxe to me.
JMHO.

I'm still getting used to the look... quite different. But I'm getting lots of positive comments from my buddies as they see it... But I really like the difference in the ride. Completely different... Quiet, and not tiring... I think I'm getting closer to the ride of a SG or RG, but still the comfort and fun of the Deluxe.

Agreed, which is why I waited so long to get this seat. I really like the look of the stock one but after about an hour with no back support my spine begins to bow out and this certainly keeps that in check. Talk about an in-the-bike feel to it, lol.
It still has some of the Deluxe styling cues though like the fold away side panels and stitch pattern. The wide passenger pad really gives it a "serious" look as well it if that makes sense. A compromise that works for me. After all, we're here to ride.
