if thats a true fact those people need to be punished. I ride my bike year round and average at least 1200 a month and thats mostly back and forth to work.

I bought my 2003 Heritage a year ago and it had 4900 miles on it. Garage Queen. Has 12,000 now.

Oh, they mentioned this at the York, PA Harley tour but I don't remember the details. it's a really low number, lower than what you'd think..something like 15% are Softails, and like 30-40% are Touring bikes (I don't remember if that includes Trikes or CVO models), but keep in mind they also have V-rods, Dynas, and Sportsters to make up that other 55-65%. The Street Glide is HD's #1 selling bike for the last few years running, and probably will continue to be.

As far as mileage goes, I don't ride nearly as much as I'd like to, but there's numerous factors that cause that.

...we all can't live in Texas and California, you know?

I would say that the members and post on these forums would give a good estimate to what the numbers are. There are way more touring post and members than any other.

Then by that logic, 70% of everyone in the Softail forum must own a FatBoy Lo haha jk.
