Default Breakout Exhaust Question

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if I'd get away with running Rush Slip-Ons (2" or 2.25") on a 2014 Breakout without changing the stock AC and buying a FuelPak? If not, which AC and FuelPak would you recommend purchasing?

Thanks

I think you would be fine with slip ons. But I think most would agree that many people have bought slip ons and they didn't do it for them, only to buy a full system later. I know that the cost is a big difference but something to think about. My 2013 breakout has this setup: Fuelmoto stage 1 a/c with the stock football cover, Pv-2 from fuel moto with lifetime map support, D and D bobcat 2 n 1. About 1400 bucks but world of difference from stock and those mods will support future cam upgrades with no problem. Oh ya , the D and D sounds badass! Enjoy your new bike and good luck. Check out the Everthing breakout thread, some really cool mods from the guys on there.

Cost was a big factor in my decision...I went with Freedom Performance pipes that were almost half of a V&H setup. I also got the Power Vision 2 tuner and basic set up was brainless. So easy that I sat there thinking...I can't be finished...no way it was that simple.

My understanding is that you don't HAVE to tune a bike if you simply replace the exhaust...but the bike could benefit from being tuned.

I've been doing a lot of research here on tuners lately (still lost on the details of fine tuning) but I did notice one thing...of all the tuners that people use, I don't recall seeing many negatives about the power vision 2 which is why I bought it. Seems like the other easy to use options all had enough bad experiences to keep me away. The tech support for the PV2 is excellent as well.
