Have you done any work with the rear wheel? I read where those are 1 time use bolts and should not be reused.

Default duece

no I haven't had front tire changed at Harley. all the bolts broke off about half way down the bolt. bike is a 07 only 7k miles on the bike. I have the custom alum.wheels from HD. bought the bike from hd used from hd.with 1k miles on it . wheels were on it when I bought it. the spocket looks like it needs to be replaced now . the rim also needs to be replaced. just weird how all the bolts broke while I was riding.

I've never heard of a unmolested wheel doing that,, but I have read several altered wheels shearing or having bolts come loose..
As said above its usually because of someone re-using bolts or not proper tq on new ones when installed..

So the wheel was obviously not the stock wheel and the PO or who ever installed it could have reused those bolts.
