Getting ready to lower my heritage 1 inch both front and rear with progresssive suspension. Im wondering if i will need to get the shorter kickstand or modify the one i have ???
Im going to cut a 1/2"+ out of mine when I have time and reweld it then powder it. I do my own powder coating.
Its too low for the stock length. Makes me nervous. Wish it could just rest on the frame with no stand.
I tend to agree that the stock kickstand will be fine. I am lowered 2" in rear 1" in front and for 5 years I had stock kickstand, no worries...THEN....I saw a killer deal on a lightly used Outlaw springless stand for lowered bike...looks and works great, a real quality piece, but really now too short. I shimmed mount a bit but need more yet, which means a milled plate, new bolts etc. I will live with it...
