Congrats on the new ride!

Ditto on the bag stiffeners...I got the plastic inserts instead of the metal frame...that way it did not reduce the size of the bag opening.

Also, here's a little trick that can save torn stuff in the bags and skinned knuckles-

bought new in 07 and now with 47k on her I've never been more pleased. she's the keeper of all the other bikes I've had. only issue I had was the pin hole in the gas line at 33k..

I'm 64 and like fringe,, I know most in here don't, but it takes me back to when I used to see harley's all leathered up in the 50's and I like it.

About $4k in leather and Chrome and $3k in engine mods and she's been Perfect, plenty of TQ for any kind of riding including that yearly week long trip..

Hope you enjoy yours as much as the wife and I has ours..

Congrats on the Heritage purchase. If you enjoy yours half as much as I dig mine you'll be OK. A great bike, without a doubt.

I use the Papa Bags frame inserts. 15 minute install and allow the bags to have "some" character. With regard to the Morocco Gold displayed on the Harley web site, I fell in love with it. I went to buy a Heritage in that color when my dealer got one. In person, the color is much more white then the pic shown, not even close. Good looking, but not what I expected and kept my Heritage.
