Ive seen a few bikes on here with it exposed. I'd email who ever makes yours and ask if you can run with out the cover.

these are my point of view observances that stick out right away when I look at your ride.Your belt sprocket needs some black powder on it the rotors need some black centers and the mirrors need to be smaller, something like Lick's small round ones. They work well. Why didn't you get the brass springs to breakup the front end. Paucho offers them. A fender that ends some where near the top of the tire or just past it with brackets to the swing arm would really set the rear end off and make the bike flow nicely.Led Sleds make a sweet ribbed fender that would work. Just my take on making a good looking ride a little better. G.
Just reread and looked at the pics and I missed the brass springs. Maybe it's I've seen a couple of their brass front ends and they really stood out.Ma the time. Maybe it's my eyes too cause I can't see **** half the time.

You have some good ideas. I have been looking for one small brass mirror for the left side but haven't found something I really like yet.

I had the option to go with the brass springs but because I wanted the brass to be more subtle I went with the black springs over brass, instead. This is the same reason that I didn't do braided brass cables for the handlebars, as well. It just seemed like it would be too much brass.

I like the black belt sprocket idea because I completely missed it, originally, and only noticed it as the bike was finished. It stands out pretty bad right now.

Black powder rotors to me aren't a big deal because the rotors themselves stand out badly no matter if I did that or not. I was originally going to do black spokes and black center rotors but I decided not to because I felt it would only make the rotors stand out that much more not being black.

I always appreciate feedback but I am honestly leaning towards not even doing the back fender even though that was the original plan. I REALLY like the look without it. Someone said earlier that I might end up on it after a big bump and without sounding shitty, that is ridiculous. I am an experienced rigid bobber rider so if I ever ended up on this rear tire I am in pretty bad shape already, at that point. It just isn't going to happen.

Thank you to everyone for the feedback.

Question about the front tire:

The only thing I really do not like about the finished product with my bike is the front tire. I wanted the front tire and rim to be the same size as the rear tire and rim and I specified this at the start of the build and mentioned my concern when I saw the front tire and rim when it came in. They assured me a few times that it was the same size and it clearly is not.

I have attached a picture of what I want it to look like so it can obviously be done. Will the front tire have to be a "back" tire to make this look work?

Does anyone know the stock size of the rear tire and rim on my 2013 blackline?

Looks great man, try http://www.mrluckys.biz/ for the mirrors, they are cheap and look good IMO.

The stock wheels is a 16x3.5 and they make a front tires for that wheel that comes on the Slim.

Is that measurement (16x3.5) the rear measurement for the slim? Because I have what appears to be the same wheel on the front as the slim front and it is clearly smaller, right?

Thanks for that link!

what I was talking about there with the fender IM.I used to run a Old Ironhead with no rear tire and 5.0 15 car tire till one day the tread picked up and slung a piece of glaas into my back at 80.Damn did I bleed.
Those Mr Lucky mirrors are identical to the Licks. Pretty cool looking in brass.
