Default New bike

Just wanted to say hello. Bought a 2014 Heritage on Sat. . Moved from dyna model up to the softtail model. Love the bike so far. have to get used to the heavier front end than the FLD that i had. So far very pleased with the ride.
Will probably ask and hopefully getting tips on the heritage.

I made a move within the softail family, from a Slim to a Heritage, 3 months ago. I loved the Slim, but needed additional accessories for 2 up riding that would spoil the spirit of the Slim.
As much as I loved the Slim, after 3 months I can say I think I like the Heritage more. So congrats on your move to the Heritage.

I just traded in my Dyna (Street Bob) for a Heritage so we seem to be following similar paths. haven't even picked it up yet. Probably won't be ready until next week. I actually had my Street Bob dressed with bags, passenger seat, and windshield, but it never was as comfortable. I I have been wanting a Heritage since 2008 and I super excited!

Enjoy your new ride! I also made the move, although from a sporty. The weight issue diminishes as you gain riding experience; given its weight it handles very well at slow speeds.

Love to see pics!!

ride safe

Default new bike

Love to show photo's but when i retired, i turned my phone in for a just hello and good bye phone. Retired cop after 30 yrs. not much for talking on the phone anymore. Will have my daughter take photo's when she comes out. I bought the vivid black with abs, tubeless tires and wheels with security system. The dealer threw all that in for no extra charge. Possibly because it is mt third bike from them; Also they are going to put bag inserts for free also. Have put a little over 200 miles, getting used to the front end. Not fighting the weight as much just letting the bike work.
