I need a shorter (approximately 54") clutch cable for a 94 fxstc that I'm working on. I've been looking on J&P Cycles and have found cables that are the right length, but I'm confused about fitment (fitting in the transmission). What years/models are interchangeable. For instance, will a sportster clutch cable work on a softail if I found one that is the right length. Or will a clutch cable made for a different year softail work on my 94 fxstc. Thanks in advance.
