I ran this set up on the Ultra and it worked great. I don't want to deal with tuners or downloads right now. Just make the bike run a little richer and cooler.
Can always order 2" baffles for more rumble. Next up - replace stock air cleaner with higher flow that fits under stock Cover. Any ideas?

If you install a K&N element or Stage 1 ***'y, it will run lean and hotter, then the stock A/F in combination with slip ons and XIED's. Bottom line: XIED's and slip ons will perform better and run cooler, when you add the low restriction A/F it will run hotter, increase secell pop and have a light stumble on acceleration.

Thanks hat is exactly what I did with the Ultra. Just Veids and Slip Ons (although those were 2" baffles. I had very slight deceleration burbling but no back fires. I intended to turn the Veids up to 50% from 25% but sold it before I had a chance to mess with it.
If I decide to go with a a high flow Air Filter I will get a tune or buy a tuner.
I have the SE high flow air filter, XiED, and Rush 2:1, and it runs perfectly.
Good to know. I don't care much about enhancing performance. Just enough to bypass EPA regs for engine reliability. Thankfully there is no emissions testing of any kind here.
