congrats man! i come i recently picked up a fatboy lo too and come from a lot of sportbikes (owned 7, still own my R1) and supermotos (had a few of them, still have a parking lot stunt one).
But i am really liking the FB Lo!!!! i will be transforming it into a bobber soon, just a lot of money and work...lol.
as far as a tuner im using a power commander V. im used to them from my other bikes and think they work pretty well. but there are more Harley specific tuners out there.
I looked into the Power Commanders because like you, I have experience with them from sport bikes. However, the FP3 looks extremely easy to use and can get a decent tune from it for Stage 1 setups. I looked at the PowerVision as well, but since I'm not planning on doing anything more than Stage 1, it may be more than I'm looking for.
Share some pics of your Lo as you're transforming it. Would be cool to see the transition

I just ordered a power vision from fuel moto, so my next set of upgrades will be all cosmetic. I'm looking for new bars still, but not sure if I want mini apes or a drag bar. Hoping I can feel them out before I buy.
