Default 2009 fatboy

I have recently bought an 09 fatboy and looking at purchasing pipes and intake. I am looking at the Vance and hines 2 into 1 but am not sure on what intake and fuel tuner to buy. Do I need the tuner and intake if I just do pipes? I am a new member and any opinons are would be appreciated.

IMO the V&H 2-1 exhaust looks to metric. I went with Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered with PCIII and Arlen Ness Big Sucker a/f.

I think the V&H Bigshot staggered are the best looking pipes for a Fatboy but thats just my opinion. it's like those pipes where made for that bike.

I was able to get away with not buying a fuel tuner for my 05 with the Big shots and a stage 1 air filter but Harley had to do a redownload to the computer to get it to work. I'm not sure about the newer models though.

You can do pipes without doing anything else. The bike has the ability to tune itself if you're only doing pipes. It will run better and cooler with a tuner though. If you're doing many changes look at the Thundermax, if small changes a fuel pak or ied will help.
