Default DEUCE sissy bar problems

Ok guys need your help.I have just purchased a 2006 Deuce with custom paint work and have a question about sissy bar. I would like to put a solo seat on and still have the flexibility to attach the two up every once in awhile. The way harley has this bike set up is bullshit! I came from the sportster and was used to being able to switch out my solo for the two up in five seconds. If I take out the bolts that hold the sissy bar thenI am left withthe holes andno way to attach the sissy bar for the girl. I need to know if anyone make a detachable sissy bar set up for the Duece, or if you have any ideas. Thanks...

The sissy bar bolts to a plate that bolts to the rear fender, you can remove the sissybar in a few minutes, the only thing left on the bike is the mounting plate with 3 studs sticking up, you will need is something like a fender bib to cover the sissybar mount.

Those Corbin seats look like the backrest is attached to the seat itself and not the fender. Might allow you to take it on and off easier. I've never actually seen one though, just pictures.

The answer to your question no. I have not seen a quick release in 7 years for a deuceyou have to remove and reinstall. It's no big deal to do it, takes about 15 minutes.

That's an aftermarket part on an aftermarket fender.I should have been clearer. However I did drill the holes to accept a stock harley seat, so I'd check the measurement between the holes. They make that bracket for multiple fenders. And it requires a FX sissy bar, even on the softtails.

You have to lay the bracket on the fender and line up the rear hole. Then mark the front hole and drill it there if it doesn't line up with the stock hole. Then it'll fit.
