So I purchased a set of cruise arms for my 14 lo. I am having issues with fitment on the right side of the bike. The bracket that holds the arm does not fit on the brake side mount. The mount itself for the right floorboard is different than the shift side (this side fits fine) the box states it's good for 2000 and up softails w floorboards. Anyone else have this issue that installed them?
Looks like I will need to shave some meat off the cruise arm mount itself to make this work. Not sure what would happen to the chrome if I did so. It would be hidden and could be painted to keep from rusting. Or I may just return them but they fit my needs perfectly........
I just installed these on a 2014 Fatboy two weeks ago. Had the same issue on the right side. The bracket doesn't line up with the bolt hole on the frame. I ended up just forcing the bolt through with the ratchet. I ended up with a good tight fit. Seems to be fine.

Any way you could post a close up pic of the right side mount for me? Would appreciate it greatly!
Well they are installed. Absolutely the best mod yet to the bike. It seems like a different bike being able to adjust for total comfort. I was very cramped on the stock floorboards. Now I am able to stretch out completely and added additional foot positions. Happy camper!
