Default rocker with cruise control

well i figured it out.electronic cruise control on bike and works good.and the best part i only have 360 dollars invested in setup. sorry post pics later.just figured it was time to have it on a softail without going broke

i used a rostra kit along with a dakota didgital part to make work and i had to cut no wires onb bike.230 for rostra and 130 for dakota part.it plugs into data port to give a tach signal a pulse signal and a power and ground.hook up to it and mount cable to throttle body and bingo cruise cheap

what yr is your bike and some part numbers for the parts used would be great. I was looking at the rostra kits before and thought about mounting the cruise module/servo in a swingarm bag.. mount it solid of course.. where did you mount the servo assy ?

i mounted the servo under the horn using the horn bracket 2008 rocker.part numbers are from dakota didgital the cruise is crs3000 and data part is stm-100 you can hook up without that part but will need to splice wires. the controller i picked with the cruise to turn on is the hnd-2 it is a little box that is 1x2 inches i mounted on side of bike by key any questions feel free to call me mike at 507-381-+6416

Could you show pictures of this on your bike? and a wire diagram if possible. The pics would really help out though.

will work on pics i always have a hard time posting them can text if needed.the wiring is really simple 1 hot 1 switch hot 1 ground 1 tach wire 1 vss speed pulse wire and done very simple the only bad thing is the servo is 4x5 3 inches deep.tou could easily put in saddle bag to hide i did not have that option

cable was easy hook up on the side of throttle body is a mounting hole that i drilled out to fit the cable and it came with a part that will snap on the side of throttle body where your cables hook up very simple anyone can do i will try getting pics to explain better
