I had an old set of throw-over HD saddlebags from my sportster. Just cut the yoke off... and since the backing is a hard plastic, installed using EZBrackets.
Super impressed with their product. Install was ridiculously simple. They sit close to fender too. They're really sturdy too. Was looking into if I were to do HD's detachable....WOW...$$$$$ Works perfect with my detachable backrest too. Best $159.00 ever spent!
PS...yes I know they need to be cleaned...I actually ride mine...lol

Looks good. Put some leather bags on mine too, and I know many people would say its a no-no, but I wont go without anymore. I have found that as much as I ride ( coming up on 10,000 miles in a week or two ) they are the way to go.
That works well with your ride, most of the time bags look crappy with the Breakout. How was the install? I am considering purchasing for my wife's Heritage to use with her stock bags.
