it's the cleanest, simplest quick release bag setup I've found...at a reasonable price. I just installed them last night, I'll get some pics up soon. Just wonderin' if any one has used them or has any feedback. I have them in conjunction with the HD quick release backrest, and it pushes the bags out about 1.25 inches...not bad at all IMO. It will be nice though, to get the bags off easier for cleaning.
I've got barebacks on this little buddy Fatboy of mine and I love every bit of them. Very easy, fast, convenient, .....well.....everything about the system is great. I recommend them. JMO.

I've got them on my 06 FXST for the detachable saddlebags. I had a hard time releasing the right side and dropped the bag on the fender[:@]Other than that they get the job done.
I've been using them on my '03 FLSTCI for a couple of years and really like them. I like to remove the seat and bags when I wash it to try and preserve the shape of the bags and for better access. I also have the chrome caps to cover the mounting studs when the bags are off but I rarely take the time to put them on. Looks fine the way it is.

You just confirmed a question lots of us was wondering. I see you have kuryakyn (I think) phantom rear covers on and since you use your saddlebags, they must fit with no problems. Is this correct?
No fitment problems at all. I've used the Kuryakyn covers on stock bikes as well as those with detachable bags and never had any trouble. If anyone is interested, I'm selling all of my detachable stuff. I'm putting my heritage back to stock before I sell it (I bought a new Ultra Classic and don't ride the heritage anymore).
