What is the best quick release for the pass backrest & possibly the saddlebags?
I guess what I mean by best is quality obviously, but which keeps the saddlebags closest to the fender. It's just a little pet-peeve of mine that the saddlebags are tucked in close. Some of those quick release kits leave a gap btwn the bags and the rear fender that you could drive a Greyhound bus thru.
Harley's detacheable kit for the backrest is fine... I guess the only one I know of to be honest.
Boss Bags to date seems to make the best QR kit that keeps the bags tucked in nice and close. There was a discussion on here once about it and someone posted a comparison photo of a boss bags kit on one side and I believe cycle vision bare backs on the other side.
I am using bare backs right now but plan on switching over to the boss bag here soon.
HD backrest and willie and max trow over bags can mount on the bike and you unzip each side and it has a handle to carry with you. I use them with a easy bracket and the zipper flap makes the bag look closer
