Just installed the coil relocation kit from dk customs on my 06 Fatboy. Wasn't difficult at all. The only thing is ever since I did this relocation the bike won't kick over. I doubled and tripled checked all the connections and still no luck. Anyone ever have a problem like this when they relocated the coil? Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks in advance for any replies...

Triple Dog Check all connections. It "wasn't difficult at all" means you most likely did it wrong. My relocation worked just fine but it took over two hours. Not difficult but the details are very important. Check to continuity of all your new connections.
I put a DK coil kit on my 2008 Night Train 2 weeks ago.
I love the kit, and the effect of opening up the backside of the rear cylinder after you remove the former coil bracket.
I did scratch my head over one thing in the kit. The Harley harness you are extending comes with a nice water resistant plug that one wires connectors into. Ok. But the plugs are way bigger than the factory plug for the coil. So there is some slight fabricating there. I thought it would be easier to sell a harness extension that was the same size as the factory, and in the same pins as the factory. But, I decided to solder the wires together, and skip the bigger plugs. Took a littler longer, but super clean install.
While doing this, I had drawn out a schematic of color wire extension-to-factory-color wire. Even with this, I caught myself almost cross wiring a pair of wires. However, I caught it, wired it right, and the bike fired right up.
I love the kit, but would like to see a direct plug in wiring harness with their kit. It would make it so simple!
Saying that, I did buy the deluxe kit with everything, and would recommend it anyway. Love it.
And yes, I agree, you either wired a pair wrong, or your plug connectors are not secure.

DK Custom's does sell a plug-n-play kit. Even though you already have yours installed, you can check it out here.
I bought that kit a few months back and it works perfectly.
If nothing else contact DK, I installed several other things of theirs and Kevin is more than willing to help you out. Great customer service from them which is always a plus.
Interesting on the plug n play kit.
I bought the most expensive rig they had with the horn relocation kit. Mine came with the extended sheathed wires, but the ends were the bigger plugs, and you had to put the pins to the wires, and plug them into the bigger plugs.
I also bought the tank lift, 2 inch in the front, with the 1 inch in the rear. Loved the way it brought up the speedo angle to my eye.
So, they either sent the wrong harness, or the top of the line kit with the optional horn relocate, should come plug and play.
Either way, I am glad I did it the way I did. I don't see how the big plug would fit under the tank, or why it was so big in the first place.
I plan on getting the Xied kit next from them.

Hmmmm, I did the same. I'm looking at the site now and it's not super clear. It makes it look like you can purchase the plug and play kit, but in doing so, you don't get a horn or plug wires. There should at least be an option to add the plug & play harness to their kit that includes all the extras. That's why mine has been sitting in my garage since April, I hate wiring. I'm going to contact them and see if I can't just exchange what I have or at lest just purchase the harness. I mean, I just opened the box, all the other bags and everything are sealed up still.

I just checked out their site and noticed that. I ordered the plug-n-play kit and added on the horn. It looks like if you buy the package deal, it is not the plug-n-play extension that is included.
I would definitely give them a call about doing an exchange.
Update: I retraced every connection again and again. I found the culprit. Hidden right smack in the middle underside of the tank. I believe when I was fishing the HUGE plugs, did I mention huge plugs, through between the other wires from the throttle body to the coil, one of the wires came loose from the little green insulators and was not attached to anything. So instead of hassling with the huge plugs again and it was a p.i.a.,because I did not remove the tank this time, I cut off the male and female huge plugs and I just soldered and heat shrunk all the connections. What a difference in appearance too. So much neater. Then finally I hit the start button and it kicked over first shot. I was elated. I hate electrical problems. Anyway, to all you deciding to get a coil relocation kit from DK Customs, it is a great kit don't get me wrong, I would solder the wires together instead of using the huge plugs. I will be ordering one for my sons bike shortly from them but this time no use of the plugs...Sorry for the long post...
I apologize that it is a bit confusing on the website. You can, however, purchase the plug-n-play kit and still get the complete kit with the wires and horn relocation.
If you go to this LINK, then you will see the plug-n-play kit. At the bottom of the page, where you go to check out, you have the options to add the horn relocation and plug wires.
To the OP, it is more than likely an improper connection somewhere. Moving where the coil is does not affect the way the coil operates or how the bike runs. If you are still having problems, feel free to give us a call or email us and we can try to help you to the best of our ability.
