ignition coil relocation

ignition coil relocation
okay I purchased this coil relocation kit. my package got to me, everything was in the box. ready to install pro wires, horn relocation kit. well the coil kit
was not there. 4 days later, I got it after a phone call. cool!
after doing everything in the instruction sheet, trying to figure out how to run the harness that came with the kit, lifting the gas tank and all that good stuff. button stuff down, a wire came off one of the connectors. apparently a bad crimp....LOL. .now I am RAGING !!!!!
can I just toss those pins and connectors and just extend the stock wires by crimping wires to lengthen the wires?
just like back in the days when we got after market coils on cars?
I ride a 08 nightrain. this is my only ride for now.
