FLSTSC. usually ride with a solo seat, but for trips I put on a detachable backrest a "butty butty" seat, and am thinking about passenger floorboards? It is blacked out and army green, (not too much chrome), anyone know of decent passenger boards that might look decent or can be quickly detached.. that'd fit on my scoot? (the things we do for ladies!)
Harley.. Kuryaykn.. Ness.. there's a ton of options for floorboards for passengers. None of them mount or come off quicker than the others I guess..I wouldn't trust putting my feet on a quick-detach floorboards to begin with. Now I don't know how quickly you'd like to attach or detach them, but I can install my footpegs in about 4 minutes.. that's pretty quick to me..
yea, was looking at the Karyäken ones, they have a "gloss" black, that'd prob look ok too. I imagine it'd fit right where the old pegs are? Bike isn't here to look at and I forget! An oncoming car made a left RIGHT in front of me and it almost got totalled but I convinced em to just replace frame and other goodies instead, hoping it'll be roadworthy before fall?! wanna do what I can for "her" by then too!
I have Kurakyn adjustable mini boards as my driver boards and love em. 07 softail custom. They work for passenger also and thinking of getting em. They have three holes for mid front and back mount, with splines to rotate up and down. Would def prevent pipe shoe rubber mess and melted chick soles. LOL
I have set of min floorboards from Harley part # 50500109. For sale they are chrome. They use the stock mounts and pins. Pm if you want them $ 60.00 shipped
