Default baffles or no baffle??????

i got a deal haha on some big gun pipes they are 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" pipes with no baffles.....my question to you guys and gals is
i'm putting these on a 111" s&s motor i want the bike to still have ***** but i want the sound just as much sooooo should i cut the pipes and put the baffles in???

i was thinking a big city thunder baffle

you're probably going to want baffles in there. my bassani's didn't have them and my engine wasn't getting any of the back pressure. caused a lot of popping. if you want a good low growl, go with Big City Thunder baffles. they rock!

I'd slap some BCT Thunder Monsters in there and you'll still have some serious volume and probably even gain some performance. I have them in my 02 SS and swear by them.

You will get the best performance with baffles. If you don't want to quiet it down, there are baffles you can get that won't really lessen the sound.

Or use torque cones to make up fro the back pressure loss

Lollipop's are another option to help keep some back pressure.
