I like the sound of my Big Shots Long, would give the a 5-6 on loudness. They fit the Heritage look great though, not sure on baffles for them. They are not a power setup though so if you want to keep or make more torque I would suggest a 2-1 like the Bassani's mentioned above and can put the quiet baffles in. I prefer to hear the pipes but don't want drowning loud so like mine. VH Big Radius look good also but they are loud.

I have a v&h pro pipe on a slim. It sounds fantastic. Just a little bit louder than stock when just cruising. But when you get on it it sounds big. You get the best of both worlds, quiet for long distance cruising. Loud when you are feeling froggy.

Mostly good recommendations here but I would steer clear of the V&H long shots or big shots. No way these are a "1 -3" on a scale of 1- 10 with 10 being loudest.

Like I said earlier my v&h bss are 6-7 in loudness. Luv the look of em also. However, if I do install the quiet baffles like I am considering I will post the results.

JDM, thanks for the info, and did you have to go with a fuel management device?

I have Rush slip-on slashdowns now, and they sound good, but man are they loud when doing 65+ and going up a hill. You know that short front pipe is right below the rider, so that's where all the noise comes from. Putting the tips out back will cut down on a lot of that volume.

Hey, Oct1949, that's a good clip, and pretty much what I'm after. This forum is great for getting good information! Thanks to you and the other guys.

Sandtrap and Baloot-boy, can you just strap the Road Rage on, or will I need a larger air intake and efi device?
