Noticed something strange, all of the other Breakouts have the black heat shields. Mine has chrome.
Only model I can find that comes with chrome is the CVO. Mine is definitely not a CVO. Anyone else have ideas?
The assembly line ran out of black shields one afternoon and subbed chrome ones. When I managed production plants, we did this all the time. No big deal. I actually saw another FXSB with the chrome shields the other day.
I was wondering about that when you posted the pic of your brand new bike. I think the Black looks great against the Amber.. personally. Chrome looks good too though, plus you will probably end up getting new pipes anyway.
