I have a similar noise it chirps when i get started but quiets down after a 10 minute run. It sounds like the tin.

Thetrim ring that retains my seal beam vibrates atone certain rpm. Always has, and I have not found a way to correct this.

There's a lot of chrome and tin on the Heritages, with a windsheild, that could modify any little sound that you might hear, but, its worth looking and listning for just to be safe. That's where mantainence comes in and checking over your bike before you ride. Ride safe.

Could you by chance put a couple of pieces of thin stick on foam around the inside of the trim ring, my passing lights on my Heritage have a 360 degree foam strip around them.

My upper fork covers (or "tins") make a rattling noise. I loosen the bolts and then retighten them while squeezing the front and rear covers together.

I have to go back and redo it every few months...[&:]

Pull the headlight off and check the wires in the headlight could be bouncing around...
